Shepherd’s Bush Pavilion

This Grade II listed former cinema and bingo hall was to be redeveloped into a hotel. Following an asbestos survey commissioned by the client’s representative, Decontaminate were appointed to remove all asbestos identified.

The building structure had been altered a number of times throughout its life and as a result, asbestos was present in many forms ranging from sprayed asbestos to insulation boarding to pipe lagging. The building had also been vacant for a number of years and pigeon infestation was significant.

Our teams worked progressively through the building removing all asbestos and enabling demolition to proceed without risk of asbestos disturbance.
