Whipps Cross Hospital

An asbestos survey carried out by the client’s asbestos consultants identified widespread contamination throughout a roof space. The contamination emanated from pipe lagging that had deteriorated over time. The roof void was located directly above an operational hospital environment which meant extreme care had to be taken not to breach the ceiling below.

Working from a specially designed working platform, we removed all contaminated materials including fibreglass insulation from throughout the roof void.
